The 57th Design Automation Conference (DAC) executive committee, together with ACM and IEEE, have decided to move DAC 2020 to a virtual event format scheduled for July 19 – 22, 2020.  Concerns about the health and safety of conference participants and attendees as well as Moscone Center being designated as a care site during the COVID-19 pandemic have made it impossible to host the 57th DAC in San Francisco, CA as planned.
In collaboration with our authors, sponsors, exhibitors and the entire DAC community, the DAC executive committee teams are committed to make the DAC 2020 virtual experience a successful and memorable event. We are confident that we will deliver and meet the expectations of the DAC attendees with a technically rich, compelling and immersive 2020 program.  Additionally, we are optimistic that this new format will allow more of our global community to come together and participate in the industry’s premier event for design and automation of electronic circuits and systems.
As details of the virtual event become clear, we will notify the DAC community.  Current DAC 2020 exhibitors will be contacted within the next two weeks by DAC’s exhibition management company, Hall-Erickson, with details on exhibitor payments and DAC 2020 virtual opportunities.
