IEEE Antennas and Propagation Society

The field of interest of the AP-S encompasses: antennas, including analysis, design, development, measurement, and testing; radiation, propagation, and the interaction of electromagnetic waves with discrete and continuous media; and applications and systems pertinent to antennas, propagation, and sensing, such as applied optics, millimeter- and sub-millimeter-wave techniques, antenna signal processing and control, radio astronomy, and propagation and radiation aspects of terrestrial and space-based communication, including wireless, mobile, satellite, and telecommunications.


IEEE Circuits and Systems Society

The IEEE Circuits and Systems Society (CASS) believe that the Grand Engineering Challenges of the 21st century can only be addressed in an interdisciplinary and cross-disciplinary manner. The Society’s unique and profound expertise in Circuits, Systems, Signals, Modeling, Analysis, and Design can have a decisive impact on important issues such as Sustainable Energy, Bio-Health, Green Information Technology, Nano-Technology, and Scalable Information Technology Systems.


IEEE Computer Society

The purposes of the Society shall be scientific, literary, and educational in character. The Society shall strive to advance the theory, practice, and application of computer and information processing science and technology and shall maintain a high professional standing among its members. The Society shall promote cooperation and exchange of technical information among its members and to this end shall hold meetings for the presentation and discussion of technical papers, shall support life-long professional education and certification, shall develop standards, shall publish technical journals, shall provide technical and professional products and services, and shall through its organization and other appropriate means provide for the needs of its members.


IEEE Electron Devices Society

The field of interest for EDS is all aspects of engineering, physics, theory, experiment and simulation of electron and ion devices involving insulators, metals, organic materials, plasmas, semiconductors, quantum-effect materials, vacuum, and emerging materials. Specific applications of these devices include bioelectronics, biomedical, computation, communications, displays, electro and micromechanics, imaging, micro actuators, optical, photovoltaics, power, sensors and signal processing.


IEEE Electronics Packaging Society

The field of interest of the EPS encompasses scientific, engineering, and production aspects of materials, components, modules, hybrids and micro-electronic systems for all electronic applications, which includes technology, selection, modeling/simulation, characterization, assembly, interconnection, packaging, handling, thermal management, reliability, testing/control of the above as applied in design and manufacturing. Examples include optoelectronics and bioelectronic systems packaging, and adaptation for operation in severe/harsh environments. Emphasis is on research, analysis, development, application and manufacturing technology that advance state-of-the-art within this scope.


IEEE Microwave Theory and Technology Society

The Microwave Theory and Technology Society focuses on the theory and applications of radio-frequency (HF, VHF/UHF, microwave, millimeter-wave and terahertz), guided-wave and wireless technologies, as they relate to nanostructures, devices, integrated circuits, multi-circuit assemblies, components, packages, transmission lines, sub-systems, and systems involving the generation, amplification, processing, modulation, control, transmission, reception, detection and demodulation, and effects of electromagnetic energy transport. It also includes the interaction & interface of microwave signals with digital & optical circuitry & interconnecting transmission media.


IEEE Solid-State Circuits Society

The field of interest for the IEEE Solid-State Circuits Society is the design, implementation, and application of solid-state integrated circuits.
