Biography

Jiang Hu is a professor at Texas A&M University, College Station, TX, USA. He received his Ph.D. degree from the University of Minnesota, Minneapolis, MN, USA, in 2001. He has worked with IBM Microelectronics, Armonk, NY, USA, from 2001 to 2002. His research interests include EDA and machine learning for EDA. Dr. Hu has received four conferences Best Paper Award, the IBM Invention Achievement Award, and the Humboldt Research Fellowship. He has served on the editorial boards of the IEEE Transactions on Computer-Aided Design of Integrated Circuits and Systems and the ACM Transactions on Design Automation of Electronic Systems. He was the general chair of the ACM International Symposium on Physical Design 2012. He was named an IEEE fellow in 2016.
