Arun Kanuparthi is a Principal Engineer and Offensive Security Researcher at Intel. His research interests include system-level security, microarchitecture security, hardware weakness & vulnerability root-causing, formal verification for security, and related areas. Arun is a founding member of MITRE’s Hardware Common Weakness Enumeration (CWE) Special Interest Group (SIG) and has authored over 70 hardware CWE entries. He co-organizes Hack@Event series of hardware CTFs co-located at premier conferences such as DAC, CHES, etc. Arun obtained his PhD in Electrical Engineering from New York University in 2013.
