Arunya Paul (IEEE Student Member) is a final-year B.Tech (Honours in VLSID) student in the Department of Electronics and Telecommunications at the School of Electronics Engineering, KIIT University, Bhubaneswar, India. His research interests include Antennas, RF & Microwave, Artificial Intelligence, Internet of Things, Embedded Systems, and VLSI Design.
Arunya has received several accolades for his academic and research excellence, including the Ideation Award at Kreativity, Annual Project Expo at KIIT University for poster presentation, and second prize in the Model Presentation category. He has gained valuable industry exposure through prestigious internships at Tata and Intel. A prolific researcher, he has published two conference papers and one journal article, with six additional works currently presented or accepted in renowned IEEE conferences and journals. His commitment to innovation is further reflected in two patentable projects under development.
Beyond academia, Arunya is an active leader in IEEE. He served as Student Coordinator for the IEEE AESPC International Conference and co-organized the Inaugural Ceremony of the IEEE Bhubaneswar Section. He currently leads five IEEE student branch chapters at KIIT, serving as the Founding Chair of IEEE MTT-S, CEDA, SP-S, and Sensor Council, and Chair of IEEE AP-S. Additionally, he serves as Head of Digital Affairs for the IEEE AP/MTT Bhubaneswar Joint Chapter, IEEE Bhubaneswar Section. He is also a DAT Member for IEEE MTT-S Region 10. As an active academic contributor, he has served as a reviewer for multiple IEEE conferences and is currently affiliated as a reviewer with IEEE Access.
