Biography

Chia-Lin Yang received the MS degree from the University of Texas, Austin, in 1992 and the PhD degree from Duke University, Durham, NC, in 2001. From 1993 to 1995, she was with VLSI Technology, Inc. She is currently a professor with the Department of Computer Science and Information Engineering, National Taiwan University,Taipei, Taiwan. Her current research interests include energy-efficient architectures, heterogeneous computing, and storage system in data centers. She has served on the technical program committees of several IEEE/ACM international conferences, such as HPCA, ISLPED, IPDPS, ICCD, ISSS+CODES, DATE, ASP-DAC and the board of distinguished reviewers for ACM TACO. She received the 2005 and 2010 IBM Faculty Award, the Best Paper Award at the ISLPED 2009, and two best paper nominations from the International Conference on Computer-Aided Design and ASP-DAC.
