Nicola Nicolici (S’99–M’00–SM’11) received the Dipl.Ing. degree in computer engineering from the Politehnica University of Timişoara, Timişoara Romania, in 1997, and the Ph.D. degree in electronics and computer science from the University of Southampton, Southampton, U.K., in 2000.

He is currently a Professor with the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, McMaster University, Hamilton, ON, Canada. His current research interest includes computer-aided design and test. He has authored a number of articles in this area.

Dr. Nicolici was a recipient of the IEEE TTTC Beausang Award for the Best Student Paper at the International Test Conference in 2000 and the Best Paper Award at the IEEE/ACM Design Automation and Test in Europe Conference in 2004.
