Petru Eles IEEE Region: 8 (Africa, Europe, Middle East) Email Biography Petru Eles (M’99) received the Ph.D. degree in computer science from the Politehnica University of Bucharest, Bucharest, Romania, in 1993. He is currently a Professor of Computer Systems with the Department of Computer and Information Science, Linköping University, Linköping, Sweden. He has published a large number of technical papers and several books in the area of embedded systems. Prof. Eles was a recipient of the Best Paper Award at the European Design Automation Conference (twice), the Design Automation and Test in Europe Conference, and the International Conference on Hardware/Software Codesign and System Synthesis.
