Shao-Yun Fang received the B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering from National Taiwan University (NTU), Taipei, Taiwan, in 2008, and the Ph.D. degree in 2013 from the Graduate Institute of Electronics Engineering, NTU. She is currently a Professor with the Department of Electrical Engineering, National Taiwan University of Science and Technology (NTUST), Taipei, Taiwan. Her research interests include electronic design automation (EDA), VLSI physical design, design for manufacturability, and AI-assisted design automation. Dr. Fang has received Best Paper Awards at the ACM/IEEE MLCAD 2022, IEEE ICCD 2016, and IEEE VLSI-DAT 2016. She and her students have achieved multiple top rankings in the CAD Contest at ICCAD. Dr. Fang is currently an Associate Editor of IEEE TCAD and ACM TODAES. She has served as Track Chair or Co-Chair for DATE, GLSVLSI, and SASIMI, and as a Technical Program Committee member for major conferences including DAC, ICCAD, ASP-DAC, DATE, and ISPD. She has served on the Organizing Committee of the CAD Contest at ICCAD in leadership roles from 2024 to 2026.
