I am an Associate Professor of Computer Science and Engineering with the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Goa which I joined on May 31, 2018.

Previously, I was a Research Scientist with the School of Computer Science and Engineering at Nanyang Technological University where I taught undergraduate and graduate courses and conducted research in computing. Even before that, I was a Research Fellow at the Singapore Institute for Neurotechnology (SINAPSE) at the National University of Singapore  and a Visiting Scholar in the Department of Electronic and Computer Engineering , The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, Hong Kong. My undergraduate degree is in Electronics & Communication Engineering from Cochin University of Science & Technology (CUSAT), India and I am also an alumnus of the first batch of Singapore Stanford Bio-Design Innovation Class.

My research and teaching interests are in computer architecture, FPGAs, computing systems design for AI, computing systems security (especially hardware security) and applications of computing to various fields.

I have served on the TPC of several conferences like DAC, DATE, FPL, FPT, ICCAD, ASPDAC, VLSID etc. and chaired sessions or tracks in some cases etc. Editorial appointments include Editor-in-Chief of IEEE Potentials (January 2020- December 2021), Associate/Senior Editor of ACM Ubiquity (2016-2020) and Associate/Senior Editor, IEEE Journal of Translational Engineering in Health and Medicine (January 2021-).
