Steven Herbst is the Director of Software Solutions at Zero ASIC, developing emulation technology for chiplet-based design.  He completed a Ph.D. in Prof. Mark Horowitz’s group at Stanford University (2021), where his research aimed to make the chip design process more accessible through open-source tools for mixed-signal circuit design. Prior to the Ph.D. program, he spent five years in industry as an analog designer for PCBs and ICs (2011-2016). Steven holds S.B. and M.Eng. degrees in electrical engineering from MIT (2010, 2011)
