Tao Luo received his B.S. degree from Harbin Institute of Technology, China, in 2010, his M.S. degree from the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China in 2013, and his Ph.D. degree in Computer Science and Engineering from Nanyang Technological University, Singapore, in 2018.

He is currently a Senior Research Scientist and Group Manager at the Institute of High Performance Computing (IHPC), Agency for Science, Technology and Research (A*STAR), Singapore. His research focuses on hardware–software co-design, computer architecture, high-performance computing systems, emerging memory technologies, and system-level optimization for AI and scientific computing.

He has published extensively in leading venues including IEEE TCAD, IEEE TVLSI, IEEE TPDS, IEEE TC, IEEE TPAMI, ACM TACO, Communications of the ACM, Nature Communications, et al. He previously served as an Associate Editor for IEEE Transactions on Neural Networks and Learning Systems and has been actively involved in major design automation and computer architecture conferences.
