Vidya A. Chhabria is an assistant professor in the School of Electrical, Computer, and Energy Engineering at Arizona State University. She also works at Steel Perlot as a consultant. She graduated with her Ph.D. and M.Sc degrees from the University of Minnesota in 2022 and 2018. She received her B.E. degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from M. S. Ramaiah Institute of Technology (affiliated with Visveswaraya Technological University, India) in 2016. She spent her graduate research internships at Qualcomm in 2017 and NVIDIA Research (ASIC VLSI Research Group) in 2020 and 2021.

Her research interests lie in computer-aided design (CAD) for VLSI systems and primarily revolve around physical design, optimization, and analysis algorithms. She has received ICCAD Best Paper Award (2021), Doctoral Dissertation Fellowship (2021), Louise T. Dosdall Fellowship (2020), and Cadence Women in Technology scholarship (2020).
