Wojciech Maly was the Whitaker Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Carnegie Mellon University. His research interests focused on the interfaces between VLSI design, testing, and manufacturing, with emphasis on the stochastic nature of phenomena relating these three VLSI domains. Maly had an MSc in electronic engineering from the Technical University of Warsaw and a PhD from the Institute of Applied Cybernetics, Polish Academy of Sciences.
