Event Menu

2017 President and CEO of IEEE Karen Bartleson learned a few things along the way from her days working jobs paying below the legal minimum wage to blazing a career path where she was often the only woman in the room, and leading herself and others to unarguable achievements. Karen had a 35-year career as an electronics engineer in the semiconductor industry, was an active IEEE volunteer for many years, becoming an IEEE Senior Member, and serving as President of IEEE in 2017. Many of her life-work experiences can serve as important guides to success for women engineers today. Karen shares her experiences to help you prove yourself as an invaluable employee, a game-changing manager, or the person whose name is synonymous with success.
