This presentation introduces a physics-based computing paradigm that harnesses the collective dynamics of coupled oscillators to enable massively parallel and energy-efficient computation. By leveraging the natural behavior of physical systems to minimize energy and reach stable states, this approach offers a promising alternative to the limitations of classical von Neumann computing. The talk will explore the theoretical foundations of physical computing as well as the materials and device technologies required for its implementation. Applications include Ising machines for solving NP-hard optimization problems and energy-efficient hardware accelerators for artificial intelligence. The presentation will conclude with a discussion of current challenges and future directions in verification and scalable physical computing systems.
