Student Travel Grant Program
IEEE CEDA recognizes that a student presenting research and participating in student activities at CEDA-sponsored conferences, symposiums, or workshops are important aspects of their educational and professional development. Additionally, student involvement is fundamental to CEDA's development as a research community.
Student Travel Grants are allocated based on the clear need for support for the requesting students, with 10-15 grants awarded annually.
The application requires the following conditions:
- Letters of support stating a financial need from their Advisor and the Chair or Department Head of the institution where the student is affiliated.
- An application is not considered complete until both financial need letters, IEEE Student Membership number or application, and the online application form are received; incomplete applications will not be considered.
- The maximum request allowed for any Student Travel Grant is $1,500 for intercontinental travel and $1,000 for intracontinental travel.
- Students who have not received previous CEDA travel grants are given priority.
If you are a student interested in attending a CEDA-sponsored conference, symposium, or workshop, and would benefit from this program, please consider applying for the Student Travel Grant Program.
