2024 Ernest S. Kuh Early Career Award Recipient Mahdi Nikdast

Congratulations to Mahdi Nikdast, the recipient of the IEEE CEDA Ernest S. Kuh Early Career Award! Mahdi was awarded the Ernest S. Kuh Early Career Award for outstanding contributions to design methodologies, optimization, and automation targeting emerging integrated photonic systems-on-chip.
 
Mahdi Nikdast is an Associate Professor and an Endowed Rockwell-Anderson Professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Colorado State University (CSU), Fort Collins, where he is directing the Electronic-PhotoniC System Design (ECSyD) Laboratory. His research interests are at the intersection of integrated photonics, design automation and optimization, and high-performance computing systems. 
 
The award will be presented at the ACM/IEEE International Conference on Computer-Aided Design (ICCAD) 27-31 October 2024 in Newark, NJ, USA.
