Dr. Chengmo Yang completed undergraduate studies in MicroElectronics and received a B.S. degree from Peking University, China. She received M.S. and Ph.D. degrees from the Department of Computer Science & Engineering at the University of California, San Diego. In UCSD, Dr. Yang was a member of the Architecture, Reliability, and Testing (ART) Group, under the supervision of Prof. Alex Orailoglu. In September, 2010, she joined the Department of Electrical & Computer Engineering at the University of Delaware as an assistant professor, and was promoted to Associate Professor in 2016.
Dr. Yang's research interests lie in the broad areas of embedded systems, design automation, and computer architecture, with a particular focus on the development of novel hardware and software optimizations that improve reliability, security, non-volatility, and energy efficiency of next generation processor and memory systems.
