IEEE TCAD: 2026-2027 Editor-in-Chief Announced
The IEEE Council on Electronic Design Automation and the IEEE Transactions on Computer-Aided Design of Integrated Circuits and Systems is delighted to welcome Marilyn C. Wolf as the 2026-2027 Editor-in-Chief of IEEE TCAD!
Marilyn is Elmer E. Koch Professor of Enginnering at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. Her research interests include cyber-physical systems, Internet-of-Things, embedded computing, embedded computer vision, and VLSI systems.
Marilyn will succeed David Atienza of the École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne, Switzerland, who has led the journal as EiC during 2022-2025.
IEEE TCAD is a leading journal publishing research in computer-aided design of integrated circuits and systems. It covers analog, digital, mixed-signal, optical, and microwave components, with a focus on methods, models, algorithms, and design tools for system-level, physical, and logical design. Areas of emphasis include planning, synthesis, simulation, verification, testing, and hardware-software co-design, along with evaluation metrics such as performance, power, reliability, testability, and security.
