Abstract

Cloud systems/platforms often provide everything as a service (XaaS) for various types of applications including artificial intelligence (AI) and electronic design automation (EDA). With the increasing demand of such services for government and industry, building trustworthy cloud systems has become significantly important. This panel will be focused on the hardware-based security solutions for cloud and virtualization environments, such as confidential computing techniques by leveraging trusted execution environments (TEEs). We will also discuss how these security solutions matter for the applications running in the cloud.
