The IEEE CEDA Distinguished Lecturer Program promotes the field of electronic design automation to the scientific community and the public at large. The goal of the program is to increase awareness about topics relevant to CEDA by creating a pool of subject matter experts and scholars to present to IEEE and CEDA Chapters, Sections and other venues such as universities and companies.
Virtual DL Webinar Series
The Virtual Distinguished Lecturer Program (VDLP) allows us to continue to serve the CEDA participants and the electronic design automation community the opportunity to hear from our respected Distinguished Lecturers.
Registration is free for all webinars. If you are unable to attend the "live" virtual events, the presentations will be available on our Presentation Library and the CEDA YouTube channel after the event.
Request a Distinguished Lecturer
- Use the form below to request a DL at your next event.
- DL requests are reviewed by the CEDA DL Committee.
- Send all questions to the CEDA DL Chair.
- Request early and be flexible with your dates. Our lecturers are highly sought after and travel frequently, so they usually appreciate the opportunity to combine a Distinguished Lecture with other travel. This works best if sufficient lead time is given.
Financial reimbursements will not be provided without prior authorization. Expenses and reimbursements must be submitted via Concur. Additional resources can be found here.
During the presentation, the chapter officer should keep a record of the topic, total attendance, and notes on technical content, oral, and overall presentation. After the event, the chair needs to submit the Post-Event Report (reporting to CEDA) and in vTools (reporting to IEEE) no later than one month after the event.
